Baking Bread for the Little Red Hen

In the Little Red Hen story, she makes some bread. We discussed that wheat can be turned into flour which can then be used to make bread. We read a recipe sent to us from the Little Red Hen. We had to mix the ingredients and knead the dough with our hands to make it nice and smooth. 

We the baked it in the oven and could smell the delicious bread baking. Our mini loaves were really tasty and we left some out for the Little Red Hen and her friends on the farm!
